Chair of Trustees
John is an experienced charity lawyer and has advised large and small charities. He is a trustee of a homeless charity and adviser to a number of other organisations. He is looking forward to encouraging the already generous people of Ashfords to raise money to support their local charities.
Rory is a partner with Ashfords. Since 2016 he has been the partner lead on Corporate Social Responsibility, helping formulate the firm’s CSR objectives and working with partners and staff across the firm on a wide range of charitable and community initiatives.
Kerry is a partner in Ashfords' Exeter office. Her particular experience in advising charities on legacies has allowed her to gain a real understanding of the opportunities and challenges that charities and their donors face. She is committed to bringing this experience and understanding to the Foundation to ensure it fulfils its full potential.
A partner in Ashfords’ Exeter Office, Zoe enjoys fund raising and is a keen supporter of a number of local charities. She is particularly pleased to be be involved as a trustee of the Ashfords Foundation, as the commitment of partners and staff at Ashfords to charitable causes is one of the firm’s defining attributes. Zoe sees her involvement as a Trustee - being part of ensuring the Foundation really does make a real difference - as a tremendous privilege.
George was a partner in Ashfords until 2012. He now chairs the board of trustees of a SE London charity, Bridge Support, one of the principal providers of care and support to people with enduring mental ill health in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. George advises City of London professional services firms, and their senior individuals, on end of career transition strategies and serves as a Public Governor at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
